Minecraft forge couldnt download jar file

 · My friend’s forge installation file on his computer says JAR File and mine says Executable Jar File. I am currently helping a buddy installing a mod ("Last days") but the mod author made it so that you have to put some files directly into the forge jar in order for the mod to work. Forge is installed and working perfectly fine (he has already installed some mods) but I cant seem to find the forge jar. There is the forge folder in the versions. I'm running Windows 10 and am trying to install Forge and Optifine for Minecraft (yeah im that sad one). I went to download Forge and install it, but for some reason www.doorway.ru files do absolutely nothing. occasionally command prompt will flash for a half a second, spent the past few hours on google trying to find a result and nothing has. It is because installer is java TM platform file. If it doesn't open when you double click right click it choose open with and then choose java TM platform. NOTE not every java file will open with java TM platform. Once i tried to open www.doorway.ru and it kept just loading loading and loading until i moved www.doorway.ru file and placed it back.
